About findr.
A small agency.
A clear focus.
findr. is a local marketing agency based in Salford, Greater Manchester. We help local businesses and independent authors get found by the people looking for them — through Google, social media, and email.
"I started findr. because I kept seeing great local businesses lose out to worse competitors who just happened to be more visible online. That felt like a solvable problem. It still does."
How we work
The things we
won't compromise on.
These aren't values on a wall. They're the decisions we make every day about how to run a client relationship.
Specialist, not generalist
findr. does one thing: local marketing. Not brand strategy, not influencer campaigns, not whatever's trending this quarter. We're deeply good at one narrow thing — helping local businesses get found.
You speak to the person doing the work
There's no account manager sitting between you and the work. When you email findr., you get a reply from the person who actually knows your account, your business, and the history of what we've tried.
Manchester is our patch
findr. is based in Salford. We know the area, the market, and the competitive landscape for local businesses across Greater Manchester. That context shapes every decision we make.
Transparency over spin
Every month you get a plain-English report showing exactly what happened — what worked, what didn't, and what we're changing. No vanity metrics, no fluffy updates.
The story
How findr.
came together.
Started as a freelancer
Jacob started taking on local marketing projects alongside other work — GBP optimisations, small SEO jobs, a website rebuild here and there.
First retained clients
Word spread. Three local businesses signed up for ongoing work — a plumber, a restaurant, and a physio clinic. All three are still clients today.
findr. officially launched
With a clear focus on local search and a name that made the mission obvious, findr.marketing launched as a proper agency. The dot became the signature.
Expanded to author marketing
A chance introduction to a self-published author revealed a whole community with the same problem — great work, invisible online. findr. expanded to serve independent authors alongside local businesses.
150+ clients served
From corner shops to crime novelists, findr. has now worked with over 150 clients across two verticals. The team is still deliberately small — that's the point.
